Green Roofs

A green roof is a roof that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and living. It generally includes additional layers such as a drainage layer and filter fleece or same in modular tray form. Green roofs are a popular method of bringing nature into a city or urban environment and can serve several purposes for a building: rainwater antenuation, provide additional insulation, create a habitat for wildlife, provide an aesthetically pleasing landscape and help to lower urban air temperatures.
